Printing and Publications

The Norfolk Regional Center, Facilities and Logistics Division, is looking forward to being your "Vendor of Choice" for all your printing and publication needs. NRC is taking a proactive role in making sure GPO and the printing industry utilizes the best methods and technology available in today's market to yield the best product at reasonable cost to you, without sacrificing quality.

Note: Higher costs are inherent to short schedules and should be taken into consideration when performing a rush job.

Additionally, errors and substandard printing quality are often a result of unrealistic delivery schedules.

NRC is confident that we can accomplish all your printing needs by utilizing one of the following methods:

Term contracts - recurring print jobs with similar specifications and no dollar limit.

Simplified Purchase Agreement - SPA 960 - authorizes agency to go directly to a pre-approved vendors authorized by GPO to service government agencies directly. Cost to print the job does not exceed $2,500.00.
Single Printing Request via GPO - on a Standard Form One (SF-1) print jobs not available under any established term contract or if the job exceeds $2,500.00 and therefore cannot be accomplished under the SPA 960 contract.
Rider Requisitions - a publication that is produced by a federal agency [Example - OPM - "Thrift Savings Plan" information] and is offered to other agencies who have a need for the publication. At the request of the initiating agency such publications are made available for purchase to government agencies, through the GPO, for purchase.
Duplicating Services - non-complex administrative printing, may be accomplished through the NOAA Duplicating Plant. Services available based on your requirements, turn around time needed, and plant availability.
